What does it mean to be embodied? Is it simply one’s sense of being in the body? Or is it something deeper and more mysterious? Is embodiment innate, or is it a transformative practice in and of itself?

For four days, over 25 pioneers and teachers who have contributed significantly to somatic studies will explore the Mystery of Embodiment. These teachers will inspire, inform, inquire, learn together, and lead you to deepen your participation in the mystery of embodiment. There is so much exciting and deeply transformative work being done in our field that we felt eager to share this through the Telesummit.

So please join us for The Mystery of Embodiment, a FREE four-day Telesummit from December 2-5, 2011 where over 25 of the pathfinders and teachers in the field will come together, including:

  • John Conger, author of Jung and Reich: The Body as Shadow and The Body in Recovery: Somatic Psychotherapy and the Self;

  • Eleanor Criswell, author of Somatic Yoga and Somatics and Biofeedback;

  • Diana Fosha, author of The Transforming Power of Affect: A Model for Accelerated Change;

  • Susan Griffin, author of Transforming Terror: Remembering the Soul of the World;

  • Stanley Keleman, author of Emotional Anatomy; Embodying Experience; Your Body Speaks its Mind; Insults to Form; Living Your Dying; and Myth and the Body

  • Thomas Moore, author of Care of the Soul;

  • Pat Ogden, author of Trauma and the Body: A Sensorimotor Approach to Psychotherapy;

  • Babette Rothschild, author of The Body Remembers;

  • Plus over 20 others!
