MBA Internship Program

Meridian University takes an active role in creating internship opportunities for MBA students. Our program staff will assist each student in finding internships. We work to match the needs of organizations which are practicing creative enterprise with our students’ interests, experience, and capabilities. Internships will consist of a meaningful project, set of projects, or work within a functional area for a period of time.

The following is a partial list of companies and non-profit organizations interested in having Meridian MBA students as interns. Each organization will consider students interested in interning on an individual basis.

  • Wiser Earth - Building a global social network of people focused on sustainability.
  • Alvarado Street Bakery – A cooperatively owned company producing and marketing superior organic whole grain bread, sprouted wheat bread and sprouted whole grains.
  • Slow Money – Committed to building investment strategies appropriate to the 21st century with a focus on local enterprise and local foods.
  • Habitat for Humanity – Seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of consciousness and action.
  • World Business Academy - Think tank and network of business and thought leaders with the mission to inspire and help business assume responsibility for the whole society.
  • Traditional Medicinals - Provides traditional herbal teas for family health and welfare, while embracing sustainability, ingredient purity, social and environmental activism.
  • Enphase Energy, Inc – Leading provider of solar microinverter systems, solutions which improve the performance, intelligence, reliability and safety of solar systems.
  • Sebastopol Economic Development Group - Helps maintain and improve Sebastopol’s economic vitality.
  • RSF Social Finance – Non-profit financial services organization dedicated to transforming the way the world works with money.
  • Taylor Maid Coffee – Independent specialty organic coffee roaster supplying fair trade organic teas and coffees, herbs and herbal products.
  • Ceres Community Project – Non-profit restoring local organic whole foods to the center of community, bringing teens into the kitchen to prepare beautiful, delicious and organic meals for individuals and families facing life threatening illnesses.
  • Triple Pundit – Ongoing reporting on issues relevant to entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs and professionals in green and sustainable business.
  • Guayaki Organic Yerba Mate - Certified organic, shade grown Yerba Mate beverages fairly traded in support of protecting and restoring the South American rainforests and empowering then native forest people.
  • Global Exchange – Advocates a people centered globalization that values the rights of workers and the health of the planet.
  • Oliver’s Market – Locally owned grocery stores in Sonoma County emphasizing local foods and building strong community.
  • Redwood Hill Farm - Award-winning, Humane Certified, Grade A goat dairy farm and creamery.
  • Regenerative Design Institute - Non-profit educational organization teaching people to create healthy solutions to the current environmental crisis.
